About the CD-ROM
The CD-ROM included with Developer's Guide to Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 includes all of files necessary to complete the examples in the book. It also includes the images from the book in full color.
CD FOLDERS:
Each Chapter in the book has an images folder and often will have a code folder.
• Code: The code is organized by Listing number. For instance, Chapter 3 includes code Listing 3.1. So, on the CD-ROM the Chapter03 directory will have a code subdirectory with a Listing.03.01.cs and a Listing.03.01.vb text file. These files will contain the C# and VB.NET code, respectively. Listings for code files with other extensions also exist:
Listing.ch.nn.xml files contain XML
Listing.ch.nn.js files contain JavaScript
Listing.ch.nn.cmd files contain command line commands
Listing.ch.nn.htm files contain HTML
Listing.ch.nn.aspx files contain ASPX code
For instance, CD-ROM:\Chapter03\code\Listing.03.03.xml contains the XML shown in Listing 3.3 of Chapter 3.
